We also provide a free local 'at-home' sample and quotation service. At a convenient time for you, our expert will call round to help you with your next LVT installation. We'll measure and provide you with free extensive quote for the full fitment.

At Portess we always go the extra mile, we provide the following services:

• We'll help with moving the larger items of furniture and upholstery in the room.
• Our fitters will uplift and dispose of the existing flooring.
• In most cases we need to screed the subfloor - we only use the very best latex based screed.
• We can provide full moisture testing for the subfloor along with print out to guarantee the works.
• If needed, we can create a new Damp Proof Membrane to protect the new flooring against rising moisture.

Our experienced and highly skilled team can fit LVT flooring in any room in your home. It is perfect for both kitchens and bathrooms due to its waterproof qualities, and best of all it can be used in conjunction with underfloor heating at a maximum temperature of 27 degrees.

At Portess we can provide a service that binds any waste or spare pieces of carpet or even bind ‘made to measure’ rugs of various sizes.

If you have any left over pieces after a carpet being fitted (whether its by Portess or not) bring it in and we can bind the edges. Priced at £1.20 per foot. (large sizes may incur a slight surcharge).

Or there's an alternative to having a fully fitted carpet, especially on wooden or ceramic floors. We can order in smaller widths carpets of different colours and qualities, cut to size and then bound.
